COST: 80,000/- INR Per Person

You may not climb the mountain, but you can reach the foot of the tallest peak in the world. It may sound cliched, but a trek to the Everest Base Camp has found its way to the bucket list of many if not most who want to do something adventurous in their lives. Even though there a lot of trekkers on the trail particularly during the season, the EBC trek is an enjoyable journey. We do everything to ensure you return with fond memories. You fly into Lukla, the gateway and the starting point of your trek and walk through the heart of the Solukhumbu region to find your way to head of the watershed. The trail is fairly wide and well frequented. There is never a dull moment on the trail as you keep climbing from Lukla and gaining altitude. From Namche Bazaar, you see the first views of Everest. As you go further up, you get to see some spectacular views of Ama Dablam as you slowly ascend beyond the tree line. You will enjoy the journey if you are prepared for this challenging walk.

Your flight to Lukla is dramatic as much it is spectacular. You walk along the Dudh Kosi on a clearly marked and wide trail towards Phakding and onwards to Namche. You will start climbing towards Tengboche, the spiritual centre of the Khumbu region and then towards to Debuche, through a forest of rhododendron and to Pangboche and Dingboche before arriving at Lobuche exposing yourself at 5000 M. After Lobuche, you walk alongside the Khumbu glacier and arrive at Gorakshep, where you will find the last of the tea houses and lodges. Ideally, you walk all the way to reach EBC before returning on time to stay for the night at Gorakshep. Next day, before the crack of dawn, you set out in darkness with your headlamps on to accomplish your final challenge. You slowly trudge up to Kalapattar (5680 M) to catch the first rays behind the summit pyramid of Everest as you stand tall at the cairn with prayer flags fluttering in the wind as Pumori rises behind you in all its sunbathed splendour.
